Buffalo Bills Security Tamar Hamlin He tweeted Sunday that he will be watching the Bills’ playoff campaign against the Miami Dolphins in New York’s Orchard Park from home.
“My heart goes out to my guys competing today!” Hamlin Tweeted. “Support from home while I focus on my recovery. I want nothing more than to be out there with them! LFG #billsmafia”
The tweet comes a day later Hamlin According to ESPN and the Associated Press, he reportedly visited the team’s facility in Orchard Park, New York.
Bills offensive line coach Aaron Cromer’s daughter, Brooke, wrote Hamlin was in training on Twitter.
“I saw Tamar today and my eyes were filled with tears! What a miracle to see him walk. We are blessed!” she said. wrote “More prayers needed! It’s a beautiful moment for guys!
In a photo posted by Bills linebacker Matt Milano on Instagram, Hamlin was smiling while greeting another person who was off camera.
Neither Hamlin’s representatives nor the Bills responded to CNN’s request for comment.
The 24-year-old was released from Buffalo General Medical Center on Wednesday after being hospitalized for more than a week after suffering an on-field heart attack during a Jan. 2 road game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Hamlin was initially hospitalized in Cincinnati, but on Monday he was transferred to a Buffalo facility after doctors determined his critical condition had progressed sufficiently for the operation.
The Bills are scheduled to play the Miami Dolphins in the NFL wild card round on Sunday.
