Mariah Carey reportedly never reached out to her late sister Alison Carey, despite knowing in advance that she was dying.

“A phone call or even better, a video call would have meant a lot to Alison. But it never came,” Baker told the outlet on Tuesday.
According to Baker, older sister Maria was “unhappy” that he had chosen to “cut off contact with her” and keep her distance.
“The harsh rejection made Alison’s pain even worse,” she said.
“She talked about it often. She wondered if Mariah or any of her relatives would come to her funeral,” the insider added. “I was told a memorial service was planned for a future date, but nothing now.”
Reps for the Grammy winner did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
On Monday, Maria confirmed the deaths of her sister and her mother, Patricia Carey, who tragically died the same day over the weekend.
“I lost my mother last weekend. “Unfortunately, in a tragic turn of events, my sister lost her life that same day,” the “Emotions” hitmaker, 55, told PEOPLE in a statement.
“I feel blessed to have been able to spend the last week with my mother before she passed away. I appreciate everyone’s love, support and respect for my privacy during this impossible time.
Maria was separated from her sister and her brother Morgan Carey when she was released 2020 Memoir, “The Meaning of Mariah Carey” — which prompted her siblings to sue her for defamation and “intentional infliction of emotional distress.”
According to court documents related to the case, Allison struggled with alcohol addiction in addition to other health issues.
