After several days of scattered severe storms, today should bring more rain and storms, especially this afternoon. Heavy rains may cause flash floods in some places. By tomorrow, we’re only looking at a chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm, with drier weather expected Tuesday and Wednesday as another heat wave approaches.
Today (Sunday): It’s another warm and humid start to the 70s. Temperatures will climb into the mid-80s in the afternoon under mostly cloudy skies. An isolated shower is possible in the morning. But several showers and thunderstorms between 6pm and 6pm will drop temperatures from west to east into the 70s. The rain will last for an hour or two in any flood-prone areas.
