We are walking in Orchard Park. The Dallas Cowboys (10-3) and Buffalo Bills (7-6) are both coming off big wins against bitter rivals, but they can’t be anywhere else entering the Week 15 matchup.
The Cowboys smoked the Philadelphia Eagles 33-13 and can clinch a spot in the postseason with a win or a tie on Sunday. The Bills, on the other hand, defeated the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs 20-17, but are 7-6 in an uphill battle for the seventh and final playoff spot in the AFC.
What both teams have in common are quarterbacks who torch defenses across the NFL. Dallas’ Dak Prescott leads the NFL in touchdowns (28) and touchdown-to-interception ratio (28-6).
However, Allen could face a tough battle on Sunday. The Cowboys enter with the league’s fourth-ranked scoring defense (17.9 points allowed per game) led by All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons — who tops the league in quarterback pressure rate (20.1%) — and cornerback Darron Bland — the league leader in interceptions (8) and Big -Six (five) NFL single-season record holders. Meanwhile, the Bills’ defense, the sixth-ranked scoring defense in the NFL (18.8 points allowed per game), may be without Pro Bowl safety Micah Hyde and defensive end AJ Epensea, whose 6.5 sacks are tied for the second-most on the team.
