the world Clothes It’s officially getting bigger.
NBC has given it a series order Costumes: LA, a spinoff/companion show from the former USA Network series-turned-streaming juggernaut. The network also picked up Cross Point Garden SocietyA murder mystery from the group behind Good girls.
NBC hasn’t scheduled any shows yet, but it’s thought they might be ready for the second half of the 2024-25 season. Crime drama Hunting party The network currently only has interim scripted series.
Like its predecessor, Costumes: LA Coming from creator Aaron Korsh. After Clothes Last year’s huge streaming hit prompted Korsh and Universal Studios Group’s UCP, which produced the original series, to begin development of a second show set in the same world — one that doesn’t feature any of the characters from the New York-set (at least initially). Clothes. NBC ordered a pilot for the show in February, which was shot in the spring.
Costumes: LA Stars Stephen Amell (Arrow, heel) Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor in New York, now leads a law firm in Los Angeles. The show’s logline reads, “His company is at a critical juncture, and he must accept the role of humiliation his entire life in order to survive. Ted is surrounded by an all-star team who test their loyalty to Ted and to each other, while trying to juggle their personal and professional lives.”
The cast also includes Josh McDermidt, Lex Scott Davis and Brian Greenberg. Korsh will executive produce alongside David Bardis, Doug Liman and Gene Klein. Clothes. Victoria Mahoney directed and serves as an executive producer on the pilot.
Cross Point Garden Society It comes from Universal Television and creators Jenna Pance and Bill Krebs, who collaborated on the series for four seasons. Good girls on NBC. like Costumes: LAThe show received a pilot order in February and began filming in the spring. Cross Point Garden Society “Follows four members of a suburban garden club, all from different walks of life, who become embroiled in murder and mischief as they struggle to make their ordinary lives blossom,” says NBC.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine Starring alum Melissa Fumero, AnnaSophia Robb, Ben Rappaport, Matthew Davis, Alexander Hodge, Aja Naomi King, Nancy Travis and Felix Avidia. Pance and Krebs wrote the pilot and executive produced with Casey Kuyber of Pance’s Minnesota Logging Company banner. Maggie Kiley directed and produced the pilot.
