The Florida Agricultural Experiment Station will host its fifth annual awards ceremony and reception from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harn Museum in Gainesville.

Each team will compete in team sorting, calf branding, steer penning, steer decorating, steer riding and a relay race.

The Certified Crop Advisor's Continuing Education Seminar will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at South Florida Community College, 600 W. College Drive, Avon Park.

The two educational areas covered will be soil and water management from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and crop management from 1 to 6 p.m.

Ten contact hours will be awarded for attending the full day. Five hours will be awarded for attending one session.
