Elk’s monthly golf tournament

— The Sebring Elks Lodge No. 1529 monthly golf outing will be held at Golf Hammock Golf and Country Club at 8 a.m. today. Cost is $30, which includes golf, cart, lunch and prize fund. Summer Tennis Camp

— The Highlands County Tennis Association will hold a summer tennis camp from June 9 to Aug. 2. Classes will be held Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. All levels of skill are welcomed to attend. Cost is $100 per week. For more information, contact Michael Reed at 414-1966.

HGMS Basketball Camp

— Hill-Gustat Middle School will host a basketball camp June 9-13. Cost is $65 per student. Camps for students finishing grades two through five will run from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Camps for students finishing grades six through nine will go from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Lunch will be provided along with a free T-shirt. Blue Streaks Golf Classic

— The 31st annual Sebring High School Blue Streak Golf Classic will be Saturday at Sun ‘n Lake Golf Club. The four-person scramble opens with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $65 per person or $260 per team. Fee includes continental breakfast, drinks, lunch, one mulligan and a goodie bag. Sunrise Rotary Golf Tournament

— The Sebring Sunrise Rotary will hold its 25th annual charity golf tournament June 7 at Sun ‘n Lake Golf Club. The tournament will utilize the Turtle Run course and begins with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The four-person scramble costs $240 per team, which includes cart, range balls, lunch and on-course beverages. Highlands County Softball

— The Lake Placid Temple Church of God will have two softball teams competing in the Highlands County Softball League. The women’s team plays Monday evenings at 6:45 p.m. and will start May 12. The men’s team plays at 6:45 Thursday and starts May 15. Rosters are open to all players 16 years or older. For more information, contact the church at 465-4931. Pastor D and Belinda, along with the local congregation, extend a special invitation to attend their services on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., and on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
