Vandalism suspects still in jail

SEBRING -

Three suspects accused of 75 vandalism incidents in Highlands County the weekend of March 23 remained incarcerated as of Friday.

Michael William Brown, 46, 3216 Baxter Ave., Sebring, and Anthony T. Keen, 13, of 5415 Desoto Road, Sebring, were charged with 55 counts of firing a missile into a building, 18 misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief, 13 counts of felony criminal mischief and eight counts of grand theft.

Similar charges were expected to be filed against Cody Dayfert, 18, 135 Melear Dairy Road, Zolfo Springs, who had not been transferred from the Hardee County Jail to the Highlands County jail as of press time.

Brown remained in jail on $311,500 bond and Keen was transferred to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Bartow.
