Two Chili’s employees robbed

Published:

— Two Chili’s employees were robbed early Saturday morning as they left the rear of the restaurant.

“This happened about 12:45 a.m.,” said Lt. Sean Casey. “The employees were going out, and they were approached by black male.”

The robber, who covered his nose with blue bandanna, pointed a gun at the male and female employees.

“He said, ‘Give me everything you have,’” Casey said. “And then he ran toward Lakeshore Mall.”

Investigators will be viewing camera footage from Lakeshore Mall on Saturday morning to learn more about the robber.

Those with information are asked to Highlands County Sheriff’s Office at 402-7200.
