RCMA accepting childcare applications

SEBRING - Area F1 Redlands Christian Migrant Association is currently accepting childcare applications for the 2013-14 early head start/head start programs.

The programs offer social, dental and health services, as well as language, mental development, vision and hearing screenings. They serve low-income families who meet the federal income guidelines and specialize in helping children with disabilities.

Avon Park locations include:

Hopewell Child Development Center, an early head start program for pregnant women and children 6 weeks to 2 years, located at 100 Ernest E. Sims St. Contact Katrina Caldwell at 452-4377 or 452-4397.

Avon Park Child Development Center is a head start program for children 3 to 4 years old, located at 1301 Strong Ave. Contact Wendy Evans or Karen Consentino at 452-3880.

Sebring locations include:

Hope Villa Child Development Center, an early and head start program for pregnant women and children 6 weeks to 4 years old, located at 2306 Hope Circle. Contact Marc Edmond at 314-5924.

Martin Luther King Child Development Center is a head start program for children 3 to 4 years old, located at 1801 Martin Luther King Terrace. Contact Yolanda Mason at 471-5381.

Sebring Child Development Center is a head start program for children 3 to 4 years old, located at 121 Martin Luther King Blvd. Contact Eliezer Rodriguez at 386-6137.
