Metro PCS store robbed; Sebring police seek tips

SEBRING - Sebring police were looking Monday for a middle-aged man who robbed the Metro PCS store at Kenilworth Drive and Sebring Parkway, authorities said.

The robbery occurred around 9:26 a.m. Monday.

The man was described as 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, and wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt and a dark-colored fedora hat, Sebring Police Comdr. Steve Carr said.

The robber had a weapon, but Carr declined to say what type.

He said the robber escaped with an undisclosed amount of money.
