Man accused of shooting at neighbor

SEBRING - A neighborhood dispute led to one man being arrested Tuesday after he was accused of shooting at another man, according to a report released Wednesday.

Richard Allen Robinson III, 34, 1240 Sunset Drive, Sebring, was arrested by the Highlands County Sheriff's Office and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The report said the incident involving the shooting started with several people getting involved in a disturbance.

The victim reported that during a disturbance with Robinson, Robinson fired a round from his gun into the ground next to the victim and that he subsequently fired several other shots.

None of the bullets actually struck the victim, the report said.

Robinson told deputies that the victim threatened to kill his wife.
