SEBRING -

A husband was arrested after a wife said he pointed a gun at her and threatened her, according to an arrest report released Tuesday.

Michael D. Oberry, 59, no street address given, Sebring, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and resisting an officer without violence.

Police responded after receiving a call that Oberry was throwing things around the house, the report said.

The wife told officers that her husband “just pointed a shotgun at her and stated he was going to shoot her,” the report said.

Oberry struggled while being arrested, the report said.
