SEBRING —A man who authorities say called 911 because he was upset that a vehicle stopped by police was on his property ended up being arrested, according to a report released Friday.
Clarence D. Lowe, 59, 815 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Sebring, was arrested by the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office and charged with misuse of the 911 system and resisting an officer without violence.
The arrest came after the deputy stopped a vehicle on a traffic stop and the vehicle ended up being partially pulled into Lowe’s driveway, the report said.
Lowe came out of his home, demanding the vehicle be moved, the report said.
When the deputy told Lowe to move back, Lowe threatened to call 911 and did so despite several warnings by the deputy not to do so, the report said.
