911 riot calls released

AVON PARK -An Avon Park Youth Academy official asks authorities for help in these 911 calls the Polk County Sheriff's Office released Monday. The Polk County Sheriff's Emergency Communications Center received the calls from the academy Saturday night, after a riot broke out. Polk County sheriff's deputies said 18 of the 20 buildings at the Avon Park Youth Academy were destroyed and nearly half the juveniles had to be taken to a jail.
