Auditions announced for Little Theatre production of Wizard of Oz

SEBRING-Highlands Little Theatre will hold auditions for its upcoming production of "The Wizard of Oz" April 1 and 2, and April 8 and 19.

Join the cast of Dorothy, Toto, Scarecrow, Tin-Man and the Cowardly Lion as they journey to meet The Wizard of Oz in the Emerald City.

Females 16 years of age and older who want to audition for the part of Dorothy should attend the April 1 audition at 7 p.m.

Adults and children over the age of 13 auditioning for all parts other than the munchkins should attend the April 2 and 8 audition at 7 p.m. Kids ages 6 to 9 years should attend the April 19 audition at 10 a.m. At noon, the audition for kids ages 10 and older will be held.

All auditions will be held at Highlands Little Theatre, 356 W. Center Ave., Sebring.

Director Melanie Boulay is seeking dancers, singers, tumblers and actors ages 6 years and older to be part of the cast.

"The cast will develop skills in acting, dancing and singing as well as gaining excellent and valuable experience in performing live theater," Boulay added.
