Art festival still looking for artist vendors

Published:

SEBRING - A few artist vendor spaces are still available for the 47th Annual Fine Arts and Crafts Festival, which will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 2 in downtown Sebring and is organized by the Highlands Art League.

The deadline for artists to apply and be eligible for more than $3,000 in prize money is 5 p.m. Oct. 1.

The vendor application fee is $75 plus a $15 juried fee.

The festival is held on Circle Park Drive and the spoke streets in downtown Sebring.

"This juried show attracts artists and crafters from throughout the state and beyond," said HAL Manager Susan James. "With beautiful weather and timed just right for the kickoff of holiday shopping, this is the show to consider for central Florida."

An artist's reception will be held 7-9 p.m. Nov. 1 in Circle Park. Artists are welcome to set up on Friday night and overnight security will be provided. Setup may also be done by 8 a.m. Saturday.

Artists can register for the show by completing the downloadable application found at www.HighlandsArtLeague.org (all applicants must submit three pictures representing the work they will display and one photo of their booth setup).
