There are Republicans In Name Only (RINOS) just as there are Christians In Name Only (CINOS) but this letter is addressed to real Republicans. While I have been impressed with the projected character of Senator Rubio and support him on many issues, it appears that he has been giving speeches to the Spanish-speaking communities that differ than those to the English speaking communities.

Now we find Rubio is counting on the fines, fees and taxes to be paid by the Spanish-speaking lawbreakers will be necessary to pay the cost of 90 percent secure borders. Remember when Jim Wilson, congressman from South Carolina shouted out "You lie!" to the president about health care coverage to illegal immigrants in Obamacare? It turns out that Wilson was telling the truth and the president was telling a lie. Even though the "Gang" now wants to add thousands of additional border "control" agents, do you think this will occur?

Don't be deceived again. For the U.S. Senate to fool us once with Obamacare and then fool us a second time on immigration would be a judgment that the people deserve to be fooled. I plead with all real Republicans and patriotic Democrats to contact Rubio and inform him that if he votes for any bill that does not provide for a board composed of the border states' governors and attorney generals to sign off on when the border is 100 percent secure and designed to remain 100 percent secure, then at election time for the U.S. Senate term of Rubio, it will be the last term as we made it for Sen. Dick Stone. I seem to recall that the Panama Canal deal turned on the one vote of Senator Stone.

While you are at it, please contact Senator Nelson and tell him that if he votes as he indicates he will for this amnesty bill we will send him back to space.

Political rancor

My heartfelt thanks to Bud Morgan for his enlightening dissertation on the reasons for political rancor and divisiveness. Goodness, talk radio, Fox News and MSNBC? Who would've thought?

Common Core

Very few people are aware of the billions of dollars in stimulus funds that has been spent on "Race-to the-Top" announced by the Department of Education. The national curriculum is called Common Core. We must stop Common Core implementation in our schools.

In de facto control of the education component is Linda Darling-Hammond, a radical left-wing educator and close colleague of William "Bill" Ayers, the former leader of the communist terrorist Weather Underground who became a professor of education.

Three years ago after the Department of Education announced the "Race-to-the-Top" with $4.35 billion in stimulus funds, some parents, teachers, governors, and citizen and public policy groups are coming to an awful realization about the likely outcome:

A national curriculum called Common Core.

Regionalism or replacement of local governments by federally appointed bureaucrats.

A leveling of all schools to one low standard.

An effective federal tracking of all students

A redistribution of education funds among school districts.

The loss of the option of avoiding the national curriculum and tests through private school and home school.

These are a few of the potential problems with Race to the Top. I encourage readers to search Google or Bing and read up on Common Core.

Many "for-profit" companies are hiding behind FEE, founded and chaired by Jeb Bush. An example is HB 878 - a law in the Florida Legislature 2012 session.

"For-profit companies are hiding behind FEE and other business lobby organizations they fund to write laws and promote policies that enrich the companies."

Don't take my word for it search it out for yourself and make up your own mind. Mine is made up.
