Model Railroad Club entertains
SEBRING - Free entertainment for the family will be offered at Lakeshore Mall today through Sunday.
There will be 40 different passenger trains ranging from the 1930s to the present day running over the 5 scale miles of track. Membership is open to all train buffs.

Final Buttonwood Bay square dance
SEBRING - The Buttonwood Square Dance club will hold its final dance of this season tonight in the Rec Hall at Buttonwood Bay RV Resort.
Mike Gormley will cue Rounds at 7 p.m. and Nelson Wakeman will call Squares from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Square dance attire is not required. Snacks will be served.
Dance club hosting Golden Era
SEBRING - The Highlands Social Dance Club will host the music of Golden Era 14-piece dance band 7-9:30 p.m. tonight at the Highlands Social Center, 3400 Sebring Parkway.

SEBRING - Sons of Amvets Post 21 will holds its 2nd annual Landstuhl Hospital Care Project and Poker Run at 10 a.m. Saturday. Sign-up begins at 9:30 a.m.

LAKE PLACID - The GFWC Lake Placid Woman's Club will hold a rummage sale 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 10 N. Main Ave.
There will be plants, baked goods and treasures.
Relay for Life fundraiser set
LAKE PLACID - The Lake Placid DeMolay teens are dedicating their "Inaugural Anniversary Open House" to the fight against cancer.
They are holding a gourmet soup and bread fundraiser to benefit Delray Plants' Relay for Life team.
The fundraiser is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lake Placid Masonic Lodge, 102 N. Main Ave., in Lake Placid.
In addition, dessert and raffle baskets will be available.
The homemade soup and bread costs $6. There is a choice of chicken noodle, toasted tomato and basil broccoli cheese.
The Lake Placid High School Drum-Line, the band's wind ensemble, the LPHS Band Boosters and Toby's Clowns also will be there.
Woman's Club to host flea market
SEBRING - The GFWC Woman's Club of Sebring will host a flea market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the clubhouse on Lakeview Drive.
The flea market will have gently used ladies clothes, accessories and shoes.

Moose Riders annual poker run set
LAKE PLACID - The Lake Placid Moose Riders will hold its third annual Poker Run on Saturday to benefit the Champions for Children Foundation of Highlands County.
Registration will be held 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the lodge, 2137 U.S. 27 S.
There will be raffles, 50/50, vendors, silent auction, door prizes, live music by The VooDoo Kings, food and drinks.
The public is welcome.
Chorale presenting Broadway shows
AVON PARK - The Highlands Ridge Chorale will present its Broadway extravaganza, "Another Op'nin' Another Show" at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Highlands Ridge Founders Hall, 4 p.m. Sunday at St. John United Methodist Church in Sebring, and 7 p.m. March 28 at the Crystal Lake clubhouse.
There is no charge, but free will donations will be accepted.

Groovus to play at Highlands Hammock
SEBRING - Highlands Hammock State Park will host Groovus for an evening of jazz and classic rock under the stars 7-9 p.m. Saturday.
Bring lawn chairs, blankets and flashlights. Concert admission is $5 per person; accompanied children 12 and under admitted free. Proceeds will benefit park improvement via the Friends of Highlands Hammock.
Regular park admission of $6 per vehicle (up to 8 occupants) is waived after 6 p.m. on concert nights.
Too Smooth, dance set at Buttonwood Bay
SEBRING - Buttonwood Bay will host a dance with Too Smooth 7-10 p.m. Saturday in the Rec Hall.

All-you-can-eat breakfast scheduled
AVON PARK - Poinciana Lodge 227 F&AM, 939 W. Main St., will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast 8 a.m. to noon Sunday.
Cost is a $7 donation. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, orange juice and coffee.
Tanglewood hosting Vincent Talarico
SEBRING - Tanglewood will host the multi-talented Vincent Talarico at 7 p.m. Sunday in the clubhouse.
Talarico dances, sings in three languages, is an accomplished drummer and uses his personality to incorporate jokes and audience participation.
Doors and snack bar open at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $10 and may be bought the night of the show.
