DEL CITY, Okla. (AP) — Members of the Oklahoma City Barons hockey team and organization are doing their part to help a family in need.
Players, coaches and front-office staff from the team are going to begin framing a house Tuesday in Del City with Habitat for Humanity. The group will be doing frame work and interior painting on the home in the Epperly Heights area of the working class Oklahoma City suburb.
This is the fourth consecutive season the team has worked on a project with Habitat for Humanity.
The Barons play in the American Hockey League and are the top affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League.
