BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — Lionel Messi has been included in a strong Argentina squad for friendly matches against Ecuador and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Argentina, which qualified first in its group for next year's World Cup, named a 22-man team Friday that includes its top four forwards: Messi, Angel Di Maria, Sergio Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain.
Argentina faces Ecuador on Nov. 15 at East Rutherford, New Jersey, and plays Bosnia on Nov. 19 in St. Louis, Missouri. Ecuador and Bosnia have both qualified for the World Cup.
