IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Iowa basketball player Peter Jok was arrested Monday night for driving his moped on a revoked license.
It's the second moped-related arrest in three months for Jok, who will be a sophomore for the Hawkeyes next fall.
Jok was charged with drunk driving on his moped in late April and had his license revoked. He pleaded guilty on May 2 and completed a weekend drunk driving program, according to online court records.
Iowa City police arrested Jok again on Monday night after initially stopping him for improper rear lights and the lack of a safety flag.
Jok, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard, averaged 4.4 points a game for the Hawkeyes last season.
